This poem has a set tune, and its title is:
Tullochgorum.

Pages(s): 2
Although the tune is not stated, these verses (subtitle 'To Be Sung on the Advent of the New Ministry') clearly follow 'Tullochgorum' in words and form: they open 'Let Whig and Tory a' agree/ To dance this nicht alang wi' me - / We'll form a right strong Ministrie,/ And whistle Reformorum.' The poem, published in the Liberal People's Journal, is a satirical take on the efforts to form a new Tory ministry in the summer of 1866 after the collapse of the government. The editorial in the same issue is contemptuous about Derby's chances of achieving stability in the face of agitation over Reform.
