This poem critiques Lord Eldon for his lack of support for reform. It states that he ought to vote for ‘Scott and lot’. Like several poems in The Loyal Reformers' Gazette from 1832, it is followed by an ‘Advertisement Extraordinary’ and ‘Inquest Extraordinary’ which are two rhyming lines that also poke fun at the Tories.
