This twelve-line verse appears in an article on 'Demonstration at Huntly'.  The article outlines the various trades and mottoes that appeared at the demonstration, and it reproduces this one in full.  We are told that this poem was heralded by one of the 'young factory girls', who made an appeal for women's suffrage.  The poem notes that women can spin their own yarn and can speak for themselves, and they hope that the current franchise reform movement will prove a 'beacon light', presumably for votes for women.
